Seriously, My "Acupuncturist" Made Me Cry
“I was a “hot mess”. I came to the clinic with a pile of symptoms. No doctor could give me a reasonable explanation. I’d been from doctor to doctor looking for solutions. I’d been through the rounds of labs and medical tests—all of which said nothing was wrong. Yet, I clearly knew that SOMETHING was wrong.”
“I felt horrible. I needed help…”

“Here’s the part where my acupuncturist made me cry…”
I booked my first appointment. Dr. Johnson did an AcuGraph analysis. By the end of the exam, I was crying. The graph looked as horrible as I felt.
You would think I was crying because the graph showed that I had a LOT of imbalances. The truth is—I was crying tears of relief.
FINALLY….
“SOMEONE understood what was happening in MY body.”
“The acupuncture blockages matched my symptoms.”
“My shoulder pain, jaw clenching, palpitations, insomnia, and knee pain were all connected.”
“I didn’t need 10 doctors, and 10 medications to manage my symptoms.”
“I just needed to have my acupuncture pathways balanced so that I could finally heal.”
“I felt hope and relief.’
“I felt understood.”
You are NOT Crazy!
So many of our patients come in frustrated. They think they are crazy because they have symptoms that cannot be verified by a lab test. Once we do an AcuGraph analysis and see how the symptoms relate to imbalances in the acupuncture pathways, they breathe a sigh of relief.
From an acupuncture pathway perspective, what they are experiencing in their body makes sense and even better yet–it’s treatable.
Commonly, patients come in with one or more symptoms such as:
Headache
Shoulder pain
Lower back pain
Neuropathy
Sciatic pain
Plantar fasciitis
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
During a course of treatment, patients often find that other symptoms in their life “magically” disappear in the process. Because the acupuncture pathways connect internally, it is normal to also experience the following changes in your body:
An Increase of Energy
Better Sleep
Better Digestion
Better Elimination
Balanced moods
(And even increased libido!)
We begin a treatment series with AcuGraph and we also re-graph to show patient progress along the way. And just like in the beginning, sometimes a patient will cry AFTER the course of treatment as well.
We really should just keep a box of tissue next to our AcuGraph! Imagine the emotions of this patient. She finished the recommended treatment plan. She already knew she felt better. When she saw the green graph, she couldn’t hold back the tears. This time she cried tears of gratitude.
If you are experiencing a pile of symptoms that make you feel like a hot mess, give us a call: 301-592-9355. We’ll schedule an appointment to do an AcuGraph analysis.
If you cry when you see the graph, it’s okay. It just means that FINALLY someone understands what is going on in your body.
Once we know where the imbalances are—we can create a plan to help you feel better!
Kind regards,
Dr. Stephanie and Darren
